Denver- Roger William Labs, 56, of Pueblo, formerly of Kearney, Neb died Monday, Sept. 21st 2009 at the Veterans Hospital in Denver.

Memorial services will be later in Kearney.  All Veterans Funeral Home in Denver is in charge of arrangements.

He was born December 2, 1952, in Kearney to Ruben and Ruth (Peterson) Labs.  Survivors include his brother, Alan of Bennett and sisters, Jane Heinz of Wheaton, Ill and Carol Olson of Broomfield.

He graduated from Kearney High School in 1971.  He enlisted in the Navy.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Memorials are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans Association.
