School Story:
Way back when we were sophmores, the basketball team had to take a trip to the panhandle. The plan was to play Scottsbluff and then stay at the extravagant "Brown" in beautiful downtown Alliance. After playing Alliance on Saturday we were supposed to board the bus for home, but a blizzard moved in and we were stuck there a couple of more nights. Understandably clean underwear and socks were scarce. I had packed an extra pair of both for the ride home. Well, the clean shorts became lost. I was rooming with LaVerne Killion, who knew nothing about anyone messing with my stuff. Finally, a couple of days later we were getting ready to go home and LaVerne pointed out a pair of frozen shorts laying out on the roof. LaVerne must have had some sudden memory loss because he couldn't tell me who did it, but I eventually found out some turkey from the junior class, Jeff Porter, had been going through my stuff and threw them out on he roof.
